Tiltable support - projecting above suspended dust filter bag and permits adjustment to fully vertical alignment

The elongated bags for filtering dust laden gases flowing radially inwards for discharge from the open bag top into a clean gas chamber defined by a transverse partition with apertures for the bags, maintain their shape by internal baskets projecting above the partition to take the bag wt. A bent-over portion of the projecting top of the basket rests on the surface of a frusto-conical element shaped like a Belleville washer and horizontally mobile to tilt the main axis of the basket and thus of the bag. An equivalent effect is produced when the bent over basket projections are themselves inclined and rest on an element formed as a vertical ring affixed to the transverse partition. ADVANTAGE - Correct vertical alignment, important with bags up to 6mm long, is readily ensured despite mfg. variations in individual bags and internal baskets.
