The arrangement receives a container onto the loading surface of a vehicle. The loading surface may be tipped and displaceable extension as a guide surface with two boundary surfaces to prevent a sideways slippage ofthea container. The guide surfaces (27) are displaceable independently of the loading surface (24) and in one of their positions form part of the loading surface. USE/ADVANTAGE - Method of supporting the container during lifting onto a vehicle without the need to strengthen the container.
