A number of rotors with 2n permanent magnets and the stators with 3n coils wound around the iron core are laminated alternately as much as necessary motor power. The rotor and stator are made of light material like aluminium or fibre. The neighbouring electromagnets in the stator are excited reversely by one pulse current provided from the dual excitation circuit. The motor is rotated by the attraction and repulsion forces acting between the electromagnets of the stator and permanent magnets of the rotor. The dual excitation circuit discretely provides one pulse current to two coils of the stator to drive the rotor. |
