PURPOSE:To extract a small amount of hot water in accordance with the am ount of feed water to a tank and to safely feed hot water with a simple con struction and at low cost by absorbing the water of volume in response to the expansion of water at the water feed port of a water conduit when the water in a tank is expanded by heating. CONSTITUTION:Water is supplied to a lower part of a closed tank 1 having a heating member 2 for heating water. Hot water is supplied to an extractor 9 by a water conduit 12 having a hot water feed port at an upper part of the tank 1. The water conduit 12 is provided with an upper water feed port 12a and lower water feed port 12b. The upper water feed port 12a is usually closed by means of a valve spring 16 and a value 13 provided at one end of a pivoted connecting plate 15. At the other end of the connecting plate 15, a spring 17 made of shape memory alloy is provided. When the temperature of water in the tank rises to reach a preset temperature, the valve 13 is released from the upper water feed port 12a with the energizing force of the spring 17 against the energizing force of the valve spring 16. As a result, a small amount of hot water can be extracted in accordance with the amount of feed water to a tank 5. |
