<p>A new copolymer comprising polycarbonate blocks of general formula (I), and polydimethylsiloxane blocks of general formula (II), wherein each symbol is as defined in the specification, having a polydimethylsiloxane block content of 0.5 to 10 wt%, a n-hexane solubles cotent of 1.0 wt% or below, and a viscosity-average molecular weight of 10,000 to 50,000. It has a high impact resistance and gives a molding material with a remarkably high Izod impact strength when mixed with glass fiber or the like.</p> |
