PURPOSE:To keep the strength of a blade foot portion at a sufficiently high level and avoid a FRP blade from being damaged due to over-tightening by tightening a blade mounting plate to the screw of an embedded metal embedded in the blade foot of the FRP blade with mounting bolts and mounting the FRP blade. CONSTITUTION:Cylindrical embedded metals 5, near the head of which a screw 5a is made on the internal surface, are embedded in the blade foot of an FRP blade 1 to be used for power generation turbines, etc. The FRP blade 1 is mounted by fixing a blade mounting plate 2 to the screw 5a of the embedded metals 5 with mounting bolts 3. By this, the foot portion of the FRP blade 1 can be set to the same dimension as a conventional flange diameter and, since it is not necessary to form uneven flange portion, the strength of the blade at the foot can be increased sufficiently. Also, since the blade mounting plate 2 is tightened to the embedded metal 5 with the mounting bolts 3, damage of the FRP blade 1 due to over-tightening can be avoided. In addition, since the embedded metal 5 is not made in contact with fresh air, the corrosion of the metal can be prevented. |
