<p>PURPOSE:To improve airtight properties by mounting a glass container in a groove provided on a base board and mounting a light guide lens inside the glass container. CONSTITUTION:On a base board 1, a large number of LED elements 2 are arranged and surrounded with a recessed groove 3 for protecting the LED elements 2 from an outside air. Inside a glass container 4 to be nested in the recessed groove 3, a light guide lens 6 for condensing lights emitted from the LED array elements 2 is mounted at the both ends of the glass container 4 by fixtures 5 as an integral structure. This is nested into the recessed groove 3 of the base board 1, the nested part and thereabounts is sealed with a resin, and an outside air is interrupted. In this structure, the LED array elements are protected from an outside air and kept airtight. In this manner, the LED array can be sealed airtight, and the reliability thereof can be improved.</p> |
