PURPOSE:To obtain a porcelain composition capable of calcining at low temperature to reduce the cost thereof and improved in the temperature characteristics, composed of Bi2O3-(BaO or SrO)-PbO-SnO2, the components being compounded in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:A porcelain composition has a formula of Bi2O3-BaO-PbO-SrO- SnO2 and comprises 10-33.3mol% of Bi2O3, 0-35mol% of BaO, 0-50mol% of PbO and 16.7-33.3mol% of SnO, the total amount of the components being 100mol%. Or a porcelain has a formula of Bi2O3-SrO-PbO-SnO2 and comprises 10-33.3mol% of Bi2O3, 0-35mol% of SrO, 0-50mol% of PbO and 16.7-33.3mol% of SnO2, the total amount of the components being 100mol%. Further, a porcelain composition has a formula of Bi2O3-BaO-SrO-PbO-SnO2 and comprises 10-33.3mol% of Bi2O3, 0-50mol% of BaO, 0-50mol% of SrO, 0-50mol% of PbO and 16.7-33.3mol% of SnO2, the total amount of the components being 100mol%. |
