PURPOSE:To prevent the overlapping registration of the same copying mode and effectively use a storage capacity by judging whether a copying mode, which has been already registered, and a set copying mode are identical or not, and inhibiting the registration when they are identical. CONSTITUTION:When a user sets copying modes by operating an operation display part 8, the copying modes are stored in a copying mode storage part 9. Then, when the user sets a registration through the operation display part 8, copying modes registered in a user program storage part 10 are sequentially specified and comparing judgement whether the mode is the same as the copying mode stored in the copying mode storage part 9 or not is executed with a copying mode comparing part 11. When the copying mode comparing part 11 judges that they are identical, in the course of the comparison, a registration inhibiting means inhibits the copying mode, which is stored in the copying mode storage part 9, from being registered. Thus, the registration of the same copying mode is prevented, and it is not necessary to reduce the number of copying modes which can be registered. |
