PURPOSE:To prevent deflecting inclination of a thermal sensing member and variation of ability of a joint device by forming an opening which has an inner diameter substantially larger than an outer peripheral diameter of a screw on a plane of the thermal sensing member when an outer end for installation of the thermal sensing member is fixed to a cover. CONSTITUTION:An inner end 23a for installation of a thermal sensing member (bimetal)23 is fitted to a rod 22, while an outer end 23b for installation thereof is fitted to a cover 16 through a screw 25. An installation hole 23d having an inner diameter substantially larger than an outer pheripheral diameter of the screw 5 is formed on a plane 23c of the bimetal 23. The inner end 23a for installation of the bimetal 23 is fixed to the rod 22 first, then the outer end 23b for installation is moved within a range of opening of the installation hole 23d in order not to deflectingly incline the bimetal 23, and fixed to an installation part 16a of the cover 16 by means of the screw 25. The bimetal, which is fixed with a certain flexibility irrespective of a position of installation of the spring to the cover, is prevented from being deflectingly inclined. |
