<p>This device essentially comprises a damper (5) fitted between two articulation points, one of which (10) is fixed and the other of which (11) is articulated on a connecting rod (12) pivoting on a fixed axis (13), whilst the articulation point (11) is firmly attached to a cable (14) connected on the one hand to an accelerator pedal (2) by way of a spring (4), and on the other to a coil (17) for controlling the gas inlet throttle valve (1).
