PURPOSE: To form a utility passage easily at a work position by providing a plurality of individual furniture units, and floor track segments for interconnecting adjacent floor track segments removably in end face to end face system in order to form a utility passage. CONSTITUTION: The floor track system comprises individual pieces of furniture 7, 15 arranged selectively on the floor surface 6 of an open office room plan in order to determine various work positions, and a plurality of floor track segments 4 each having a hollow structure defined by an outer wall having longitudinally elongated inner holes suitable for receiving and isolating a utility. Connectors 75-79 are arranged at the opposite ends of individual floor segment and interconnected removably with adjacent floor track segments 4 thus forming a continuous passage for utility isolated physically from the furniture 7, 15. According to the arrangement, a floor track network for easily forming an utility passage can be obtained at a work position. |
