PURPOSE:To obtain scarlet maple leaves favorable in both shape and color by inserting partitioning materials between raw scarlet maple leaves so as not to come into their mutual contact, making a closed packaging of the system followed by heating sterilization of the system in a packaged state and then cooling followed by storage at <=10 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:Raw scarlet maple leaves and lamellar papers are alternately superposed, the resulting system being packaged and closed. The resultant system is then sterilized in warm water at ca.80 deg.C for ca.20min. followed by storage in a refrigerator at <=10 deg.C. At each time to use the resulting scarlet maple leaves thus obtained, they are taken out from the refrigerator and used for confectionery decoration. |
