<p>The appts. comprises an upper body, to which an electrode is fixed at the latter's potential, and a lower body having a different potential and surrounding the electrode. A fluid coolant is fed successively into the upper and lower body. An electrically insulated part is pierced for the passage of the fluid from one or more holes. Electrically insulating tubes increase the electrical resistance of the column of water subjected to the difference in potential between the two bodies. Devices remove the fluid coolant.</p> |
