PURPOSE:To remove mutual influence in heating between a battery charging circuit section and a power supply switch-over circuit, and thereby prevent temperature from being increased by constituting the battery charging circuit section and a power supply switch-over circuit section to be separated into respective separate blocks, and thereby combining the power supply switch-over circuit section with an emergency lighting circuit section. CONSTITUTION:When a commercial AC power supply 7 becomes electrically live, a battery 6 is charged by battery charging current outputted from the charging transformer 9, the rectifier 14 and the charging resistor 10 of a battery charging circuit 1 through the connecting lines 16 and the emergency switchover relay 13 of a power supply switch-over circuit section 2. The secondary current of a stabilizer 4 is witched over to the side of a discharge lamp 5 by an emergency switch-over relay 13 so that the lamp is thereby lit. In this case, the transformer 9, the resistor 10 of the circuit section 1, and emergency switch-over relay 13 of the circuit section 2 are heated up. Since the circuit section 1 and the switch-over circuit section 2 are however, incorporated in respective separate cases 18 and 18, no heating due to mutual interference is caused, an increase in temperature within the cases is thereby reduced. |
