PURPOSE:To prevent uneven heating to a material to be hardened due to uneven flame length, by providing a mixed-gas dispersing means on the way of a passage, in a burner head, provided with a mixed-gas introducing passage, piercing through the main body of a burner head from a joint part toward a flame port. CONSTITUTION:A baffle plate 11 is provided on the way of a mixed-gas introducing passage 4, piercing through the main body 2 of a burner head from a joint part 1 toward a flame port. With such an arrangement, the above-mentioned passage 4 is branched off, making it a lateral hole 14 in the main body 2 of a burner head. After being branched off to two ways, the passage 4 is interconnected to a lateral hole 15, as becoming longitudinal holes 12 and 13. The mixed-gas introduced into the main body 2 of a burner head passing through the above-mentioned passage 4, strikes against a baffle plate 11. Then, the gas is separated to the right and left ways, flowing into a lateral hole 15 through longitudinal holes 12 and 13, respectively, and jetted to the outside from flame ports 3, being straightened to a uniform flow. Accordingly, the flame length jetted from each flame port 3 is made uniformed, and hardening can be performed uniformly at the time of flame hardening. |
