PURPOSE:To make a wall creeping device small and light by forming a plurality of suction moving units fitted to a supporting frame from a rotary member, a seal member fixed thereto and forming a decompression space, and a roller member to press the seal member to the wall surface. CONSTITUTION:In a wall creeping device as per the present invention, four suction moving units 12 are fitted to a supporting frame in the form of a hollow box. Each suction moving unit 12 includes a rotation motive 14 such as a motor, wherein a rotary member 22 is fixed to a rotation output shaft 16 extending while penetrating the supporting frame 4 airtightly. A seal member 30 made of synthetic rubber etc. is fixed to the peripheral inside of a disc-shaped main part 26 of this rotary member 22, and a decompression space is bounded by this seal member 30, wall surface, and rotary member 22. A roller means 54 whose peripheral surface is pressed to the wall surface through the contact part 36 of the seal member 30, is supported on the frame 4 rotatably, and movement is made practicable by rotating these roller means 54 and rotary member 22. |
