The rubber spring element, of relatively hard and mechanically solid material, has cavities and hollow channels intersecting said cavities running through it, in order to form a particularly soft spring characteristic in such a manner that the surface content of the unobstructed cross-section of the hollow channels amounts to at least 25% of the surface content of the maximum unobstructed cross-section of the next-located cavity through which this hollow channel passes, the hollow channels being able to intersect directly in the rubber matrix.
