A method of synchronizing A.C. supplies includes means of measuring the relative frequency slip which is related to square wave pulses supplied to a reversible counter to control the switching paralleling operation or a frequency equalization operation. The conversion to square wave pulses and summation of the pulses is achieved in logic circuits which provide the counter with impulses related to frequency slip and phase difference between the supplies. |
