<p>PURPOSE:To improve the using efficiency of a transmission line by using a value dividing a delay time permissible value with the relay node number of a decided path as the delay assignment time of each node and deciding the packet length fully to the delay assignment time at the node of the minimum transmission line speed of the decided path. CONSTITUTION:A path decision delay time assignment means 1 obtains a path node number depending on the path decision and assigns a delay time uniformly to each node. Then a packet length decision means 2 uses a node with the slowest transmission speed in the path to decide the packet length fully equivalent to the assigned delay time. Thus, a relay node number is not always maximum and a node with the slowest transmission speed is not always a node with the slowest transmission speed in the network. Since the packet length is longer than a conventional case and the delay time is within the permissible delay time, the using efficiency of the transmission line is improved.</p> |
