PURPOSE:To obtain a compact device by providing first and second sheet stop positions in paper refeed and carrying paths and making an interval between the first sheet stop position and the second sheet stop position smaller than the maximum length of carried sheets. CONSTITUTION:Although a distance between first and second sheet stop positions A and B is smaller than the maximum length of a fed sheet S, the first and second sheets S can be independently stopped and carried in paper refeed and carrying paths 42, 45 and 46. When the second sheet S stops at the second sheet stop position B, the first sheet S is refeed to an image forming part 33. Thus, a plurality of sheets S are continuously fed to the paper refeed and carrying paths 42, 45 and 46 to perform double sided printing or multiple printing. |
