PURPOSE:To always use the same program interface to communicate with programs of the other party by providing managers which manage positions of programs of the other party of communication and designating the manager which manages the program of the other party whose start is requested. CONSTITUTION:Computer systems 11 to 13 and work stations 14 and 15 are provided with managers 113, 114, 123, 124, 133, 143, and 153 which manage programs to manage positions of programs of the other party, and managers 113, 114, 123, 124, 133, 143, and 153 designate positions of the other party at the time of communication between programs. Thus, communication between programs is performed with the same program interface independently of positions of programs to be started. Thus, the flexibility of a system is improved because programs are standardized and positions of programs of the other party can be easily changed.
