PURPOSE:To attain beautiful joint pickup and to appeal strongly the timing shift of the joint pikcup part by transiting a picture to a designated color or a designated pattern with a prescribed time at turning-off of video recording and stopping the video recording. CONSTITUTION:When the video recording is turned off, since a video recording off signal A is inverted from H to L, a microcomputer 5 detects the inversion of a video recording off signal and discriminates the video recording OFF. Further, the video recording is turned off, the microcomputer 5 controls electronic variable resistors 4a-4c so as to show the output signal and to control its output signal to a predetermined value, allowing to convert gradually the picture to a prescribed value such as blue color. The picture is changed gradually to a designated color at each turning off of the picture and stopped after video recording in this way. Then, a picture changing gradually into the designated color is inserted to the joint pickup part from the picked up screen and even if the tape is rewound during the joint pickup, a part of the screen of the designated color only is erased and there exists no problem. |
