A waterproof pill container comprises a base made of plastic material and formed with a series of pill cavities opening onto its top surface, the cavities being distributed along a circle and the base being further provided with an endless circular groove also opening onto its top surface, the groove being disposed outwardly of the pill cavity. A sealing lip protrudes from the top surface around each of the cavities. The container also comprises a cover made of plastic material. This cover has a bottom surface which faces the base top surface and is formed with a through aperture disposed along the cavity surface, this aperture having a size suitable for allowing discharge of a pill when it registers with one of the pill cavities. A circular endless skirt depends from the bottom surface of the cover and snugly fits into the circular groove of the base. A plug projects from the base top surface to enter and snugly fit into the pill discharge aperture when the container is in non-use position. The base and cover are provided with a pivot that allows relative rotation about the central axis of the cavity circle so that selective registration of one of the cavities with the pill discharge aperture can be achieved. The pivot is also designed to force the cover base surface against the sealing lips of the cavities thereby providing the latter with waterproofness.
