PURPOSE:To reduce the volume of a sample solution even with respect to a low radioactivity sample by introducing the sample solution into a cell to hold the same for a predetermined time therein. CONSTITUTION:When a three-way valve 24 is operated and a sample solution is sucked by a pump 26 in such a state that a cell part 18 and an inflow pipe 12 are connected to the pump 26, the sample solution in a container 10 flows in the inflow pipe 12 to move to a cell part 18 and the sample solution in the cell part 18 moves to the pump 26. In this state, the light emission of the scintillator of the cell part 18 is counted. After predetermined counting is completed, the three-way valve 24 is operated to connect the pump 26 to a discharge pipe 28 and the sample solution is extruded to be discharged. This operation is repeated to successively perform analysis. By changing over a three-way valve 16 toward a washing tank 20, washing is performed.
