PURPOSE:To service an empty elevator cage efficiently by providing an arithmetic and control means for enumerating the expected arrival time of each cage serviceable in the empty state upon the generation of a cage stop call and assigning the elevator cage of the smallest enumerated value to service to the cage stop call. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic and control means 71, upon the generation of a cage stop call, enumerates the expected arrival time of each cage serviceable in the empty state to the call and assigns the elevator cage of the smallest value among the respective enumerated values to service to the cage stop call. The time for servicing an empty cage to the car stop call can be thus shortened, and the impatience of a caller can be thereby soothed. |
