PURPOSE:To transfer sound information with high reliability without losing real-time ability by adding error correction information only to header information and exchanging the information. CONSTITUTION:In a transmitter T, data (a) are inputted to a variable length HDLC frame generating circuit 1 and outputted as a signal C of an HDLC variable length frame format to a selecting circuit 5. A transmission sound signal (b) is inputted to a sound fixed length packet generating circuit 2 and outputted as a fixed length sound packet (d), to which header information (g) are applied, to the selecting circuit 5. At such a time, the header information (g) are inputted to an error correction code generating circuit 3 and error correction information (h) are generated and outputted to the selecting circuit 5. Thus, there is no delay in the transfer of the sound. |
