发明名称 METHOD FOR REINFORCING CERAMICS ROTOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To reinforce the shaft part of the ceramics rotor integrally molded by sintering to high strength by applying hot pressing at the temp. below the sintering temp. to the ceramics rotor in the central axis direction thereof. CONSTITUTION:The ceramics rotor integrally formed by the sintering is subjected to hot pressing at the temp. below the sintering temp. in the central axis direction thereof, by which the central part of the above-mentioned rotor is formed to a high density and the strength in the central part in this rotor is increased. The rotor is preferably applied with 50 to 500kg/cm<2> pressure at 1400 to 1800 deg.C in a gaseous nitrogen atmosphere of 0.5 to 50atm in order to apply the above-mentioned method particularly to the rotor consisting of the ceramics consisting essentially of silicon nitride. plastic deformation is induced in the shaft part of the rotor, more particularly the rotor hub part and shaft part by applying the pressure to the rotor in the central axis direction thereof at the high temp. after the sintering to compress the rotor.
