PURPOSE:To obtain a lubricant composition which has excellent antiseizing properties and high stability and good compatibility in refrigerant atmosphere such as in chlorofluorocarbon atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:The subject lubricant composition is composed of (A) an alcohol bearing fluoroalkyl group which is represented by the formula: Rf-R<1>-OH [R<1> is alkylene of 2 to 15 carbon atoms; Rf is fluoroalkyl of 5 to 16 carbon atoms and the number of F atoms is 2n-3 or more (n is carbon atoms in Rf and at least one of F atoms bond each C atom)], preferably 0.001 to 50wt.%, particularly 0.1 to 30wt.% and (B) a polyether, preferably of about 300 to 3,000, particularly 500 to 2,000 molecular weight and has preferably a viscosity of 5 to 50 cst, particularly 5 to 80cst at 100 deg.C. |
