PURPOSE:To make a device compact by providing an electric field curtain generating means in a toner supply part, constituting a toner carrying and conveying means of a transparent conductor and providing an image exposing means in the toner carrying and conveying means. CONSTITUTION:The electric field curtain generating means 20 is provided in the toner supply part 11 and the toner carrying and conveying means 13 is constituted of the transparent conductor, then the image exposing means 15 is provided in the means 13. The electric field curtain generating means 20 allows an electric field curtain to act. With the action of the electric field curtain, photoconductive toner is electrostatically charged and it is supplied to the toner carrying and conveying means 13 constituted of the transparent conductor to be exposed by the image exposing means 15. Thus, a toner layer made of the uniform photoconductive toner is formed on the toner carrying and conveying means 13 and a high-definition image is obtained, then the device is made compact. |
