PURPOSE:To provide the above-mentioned structure for joining which drastically decreases the generation of the residual stresses of joining occurring in the difference in the coefft. of thermal expansion between a metal and ceramics by joining the metal and the ceramics having the coefft. of thermal expansion different from the coefft. of thermal expansion of the metal via insert metals consisting of two kinds of materials and providing a cavity at the center of the one insert metal. CONSTITUTION:The above-mentioned insert metals 2 are constituted of two kinds of the metals which vary in the coefft. of thermal expansion. These metals are constituted of the 1st layer 2A of a sheet provided on the side in contact with a ceramics plate 1 and a 2nd layer 2B provided as the cavity 4 in the central part provided on the side in contact with the metal 3 and along the circumferential edge part of the plate 1. The joining stresses occurring in the difference in the coefft. of thermal expansion between the plate 1 and the metal 3 are drastically decreased in this way. In addition, the 2nd layer 2B of the metal 2 is formed as the cavity 4 in the central part and, therefore, the thermal deformation of the plate 1 at the time of heating is effective permitted and the generation of thermal stresses is lessened. |
