PURPOSE:To reduce the time to send information to a terminal equipment by using a part without change in document as a preset data, registering the data in a facsimile response equipment in advance, sending a character code to be edited so as to execute the facsimile transmission. CONSTITUTION:A data sheet is read by an image scanner 24 and it is registered in an image pattern memory 23 as an image pattern while being correspondent with each format definition code. When a host computer 11 sends code information to a facsimile response device 12 via a communication equipment 16, a header code 51 of 'STX' is at first sent. The format definition code 52 used for the present transmission is sent succeedingly thereto. Then character codes 53-1-53-M to be inserted in the preset data pattern to be designated are sent. Finally, an encode 54 of 'ETX' is sent.
