PURPOSE:To operate stably with high efficiency by constituting the sliding surface of a driving section so as to uniformalize the speed of driving direction and the amplitude of vibration. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic motor is constituted of a base 11, a piezo-electric- element 12, a vibrator 13, a roll 16 of a bearing, a slider 17, a case 18, etc., and the vibrator 13 is vibrated in the shape of about an ellipse to drive the slider 17. A driving section 20 is formed on the sliding surface of the vibrator 13 with the slider 17, and the driving section is so formed in the shape of a semi-circle that it is brought into line contact with the slider 17 mentioned above. |
