A three-phase transformer comprises three closed magnetic circuits (1, 2, 3), primary and secondary windings consisting of electrically interconnected parts (6, 7) and (10, 11), as well as primary windings (4, 5) and secondary windings (8, 9). The parts (10, 11) and the parts (6, 7) are located on the corresponding sections (12, 13) of the magnetic circuits (1, 3). The sections (15, 16) of the magnetic circuit (2) are neighbouring, respectively, upon sections (14, 17) of the magnetic circuits (1, 3) and carry the primary windings (4, 5) and the secondary windings (8, 9). Since less winding wire is used for making the transformer and because demagnetizing influences from the secondary windings (8, 9) are avoided, the weight and dimensions of the transformer and the electic energy losses are decreased and the design of the transformer is simplified. |
