PURPOSE:To improve the measuring efficiency and to simplify the device by rotating a disk partially immersed into a process solution in a container, and detecting alpha rays adhering to the disk. CONSTITUTION:A process solution 2 is supplied into a container 1 from an inlet line 8, discharged from an outlet line 9 provided on height of a center line of a disk 3, and holds a prescribed level. In this state, the disk 3 driven by a motor 4 rotates continuously, while allowing the solution 2 to adhere, and an alpha ray detector 5 installed in a position 10 of an interval of <=about 10mm to the disk 3 detects alpha rays emitted from a thin film of the solution 2 adhering to the disk 3 by the whole detection effective area, amplifies 6 them, and thereafter, measures a pulse signal by a measuring instrument 7. In such a way, since an area which can be measured is large, the measuring efficiency is improved, and also, since the disk 3 is small in size and light in weight, the motor 4 of a small capacity can be used, and the device can be simplified.
