发明名称 INK JET RECORDER
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable printing to be performed by a suitable dot diameter according to a printing form by a method wherein a means which varies a pulse width of a driving signal and a control means which modulates an amount of discharge ink are established to a discharge energy generating element. CONSTITUTION:When a received data is a character print, its character is developed by an image in a RAM 57 with a character generator 56, and a head temperature is set at 30 deg.C. Then, the head temperature is detected with a thermister 70 and an A/D converter 58 AD. When it is lower than side temperature, a thermal heater 90 is turned on. Further, it is quickly raised to a established temperature by inside heating of a head ink discharging heater 24 to enable printing of a large dot diameter to be performed. Besides, for printing of a bit image, a printing image data is stored in a RAM 57, and a temperature of the head is established at 20 deg.C. This temperature is the head temperature for a small diameter dot. When it comes to this setting temperature, a carriage motor is driven, and the head 4 is moved to a recording position. A printing data is read from a printing buffer of the RAM 57, and the heater 24 of a head nozzle is driven by a specific pulse width to execute printing.
