The present invention relates to a fastener for perforated elements, particularly for files (binders) of perforated sheets. This device includes a piece 1 for supporting rings 4, each of which are made up of two semi-flexible filiform elements 3, of essentially semi-circular shape, and equipped with a rectangular base 9, these semi-flexible elements being capable of being joined together in opposition by their upper end in the shape of a substantially circular loop, equivalent to that of a ring, and of being held in position by their base 9 at the lower part of the loop formed, the said base being lockable in various positions on its length, giving the loop formed a variable dimension or diameter. <IMAGE>
