METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CUTTING PARISON IN BLOW MOLDING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To always uniformize the cut faces at a constant dimension and also to prolong the service life of a cutter by moving the cutter and cutting a clamped parison while cooling this clamped parison by cold air. CONSTITUTION:A clamper 6 of parisons is equipped freely elevatingly along a housing 1. A cutting machine 8 described hereunder is provided to the housing 1 so that it can be moved forward and backward. This cutting machine 8 has the cutters 7 for cutting the parisons 3 clamped by the clamper 6 while cooling the parisons 3. Further a split type mold 5 is provided to the lower part of the inside of the housing 1. The parisons 3 are squashed in a two-folded shape by the clamper 6. Thereafter the cutter 7 is moved forward and backward along the upper face of the clamper 6. Further the parisons are cut while the cut parts of the parisons 3 are cooled at the required temp. by cold air.
