PURPOSE:To improve wet performance and dry performance by forming this cuts which are angle-shaped with a specific open angle and both end parts are communicated to main grooves on many blocks formed on a tread surface, and the extreme end of the angle so as to face to the circumferential direction. CONSTITUTION:Many blocks 3 divided with main grooves 1 extending in the circumferential direction and sub-grooves 2 extending in the crossing direction with the main grooves 1, are arranged on both sides of a center line CL on the tread surface of a tire. In this case, each thin cut 4 is formed on each block 3. Each cut 4 is formed in an angle-shape with the open angle alpha 40 deg.-140 deg., wherein both end parts are communicated with the main grooves 1 on both sides. Further, each cut 4 is arranged to face the circumferential direction of the tire at its extreme end C of the angle. Hereby, rigidity of each block 3 is improved and falling-down of each block 3 against a transverse force is restrained. |
