Rigid package for a long-shaped object 3, comprising two hollow closing bodies 1a, 1b, intended to fit into one another, disposed along the axis 2 of the object to be packaged, each hollow body having an open frontal face 4a, 4b and a closed or partially closed opposite face 5a, 5b, and means of assembly of the two hollow bodies 1a, 1b disposed with their two open frontal faces 4a, 4b facing one another, comprising two complementary reversible connection elements 6a, 6b, respectively located on the two hollow bodies, characterised: - in that the two closing hollow bodies 1a, 1b are identical and symmetrical to each other; - in that each reversible connection element 6a, 6b is integrated in the wall of the hollow body 1a, 1b and consists in a set of teeth 7, 8 extending around the entire free edge of each open face 4a, 4b; - and in that each set of teeth comprises at least one male element 9, 10 and one female element 11, 12, the number of male and female elements being identical, which can be engaged in one another.
