<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the alteration of the magnetized pattern of a recording region by forming a magnetism preventing layer on a magnetic layer excepting a magnetized region in close vicinity to the magnetized region. CONSTITUTION:A magnetized region 2 composed of a magnetic layer and the magnetism preventing layer 3 close to said magnetized region 2 are formed on the surface of a magnetic card 1. The magnetized region 2 is formed by selectively magnetizing a recording region 4 and constitutes a pattern for displaying predetermined information. A fine edge part 5 where the magnetic layer is exposed is formed between the magnetized region 2 and the magnetism preventing layer 3 along the shape of the magnetized region 2 so as to certainly hold the pattern shape of the magnetized region 2 and to prevent the erroneous reading of information. Therefore, a pattern shape magnetically recorded at the beginning can be held and the alteration of the magnetic card due to the rewriting of the recording region of the magnetic layer to a different shape pattern can be prevented.</p> |
