PURPOSE:To improve rigidity and durability of a suture part, and especially to secure a mechanical feature of an air bag that stands the shock at the time of high temperature expansion by adhering a tape composed of a cloth and a bonding layer, to a suture part of a base cloth of the air bag. CONSTITUTION:In an air bag, a suture part 5 is arranged in the center of a base cloth 3, and an inflater mounting port 6 is opened in a part of the base cloth 3. The suture part 5 of the base cloth 3 is sewn by a sewing thread 1. To the suture part 5, a tape 2 composed of a cloth and a bonding layer is adhered. Rigidity and durability of the suture part 5 are thus improved, and especially, mechanical feature of the air bag that stands the shock at the time of high temperature expansion can be secured. |
