PURPOSE:To obtain a detergent which can effectively remove stains without damaging the surface of a medical appliance such as a contact lens by compounding water, a surfactant, and a specified substance together. CONSTITUTION:A detergent comprising water, a surfactant such as sodium lauryl sulfate or polyoxyethylene nonylphenyl ether, and at least one gel which can adsorb proteins, e.g. polyvinyl alcohol copolymer gel, and/or carragheenan supported on cellulose. |
