The solar heated heat exchanger is for high temperatures. A fluid heat carrier flows through a battery of absorber pipes (12) which are wound round in a tight coil forming a cylindrical jacket for the exchanger (11). The exchanger (11) stands vertically, not fixed, on a mounting in such a way that the absorber pipes (12) allow free expansion movement. USE/ADVANTAGE - Maximum heat output from minimum material requirement. Is easily replaced in case of leakage.
