The appts is for use in instructing pupils and is esp intended for the teaching of reading and spelling The appts consists of a number of flat panels (E,s,e,l) which are connected to each other along their edges by means of flexible rings. Each panel carries a letter or a group of letters, which form a word when the panels are unfolded (fig 1 & 2). The panels can be folded compactly when not required and then unfolded to display each letter of a word in correct sequence. USE - Teaching of reading and spelling.
