The jigsaw has an auxiliary pendulum mechanism. This is driven by the same motor as the saw blade and consists of a two armed lever (30), one leg (31) of the lever (30) is in contact with the back of the saw blade (6) or the support roller (32), and the other leg (33) of the lever (30) is in contact with the working surface of the curved rail (36). USE/ADVANTAGE - The up and down movement of the saw blade is supplemented by a swinging to and fro movement.
