PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of the welded part of a tank for oil-immersed electrical machinery and apparatus against loads to be applied repeatedly by a method wherein welding of heat radiating fins and upper and lower side frames to constitute the tank is performed at the parts where bending moment becomes to the minimum. CONSTITUTION:The tank is constituted of an upper cover 1, and the upper and the lower outside frames 2, 3, and the heat radiating fins 4 are welded to the upper and the lower outside frames thereof. The upper and the lower outside frames 2, 3 and the heat radiating fins 4 thereof are formed to have structure wherein the heat radiating fins at the center parts are long, and length of the heat radiating fins become shorter according to approach the four corners of tank, the upper cover 1 and the upper outside frame 2 are fixed interposing packing between them, and the tank is made to have structure being closed air- tightly. Accordingly bending moment to be generated by external force is not applied to the welded part (a), and deterioration of the welded part can be prevented against loads to be applied repeatedly by variation of pressure applied to the tank, etc. |
