Detergent container mounting - has snap lock in the base for fitting to interior of perforated washing machine drum

The system to lock the base of a container to the perforated and ribbed interior wall of a washing machine drum, such as spherical detergent holders, has a snap lock (7) to secure the container base to the drum wall (13) and give a quick release. The lock (7) is a hook of stainless stell, with a longer leg and a shorter leg (7b) which are bent at 90 deg. to each other. An axial rod can be passed through a drilling in the longer leg of the lock (7), for the lock to rotate by 90 deg. ADVANTAGE - The mechanism holds the container in place so that it does not roll around within the rotating drum and give increased working noise.
