The concrete wall is formed with the aid of shuttering panels which are held at the required distance (d) apart by a spacer (8). This spacer (8) is constructed from a tube (13) with a screw thread at each end which screws into special fittings (12,34). The spacer (8) has a through hole for a bolt which clamps the shuttering against the spacer. The special fitting (12) is so shaped that it can receive a hooked arm (11) which is used for attaching objects to the wall after the concrete has hardened. USE - Concrete structures.
