Bicycle wheel construction method - using aluminium hub and rim, with carbon fibre spokes embedded in resin

The wheel construction includes e.g. spoked wheel (1) with six spokes (2). Spokes e.g. of composite material are tensioned between hub (3) and rim (4). Inside the spoke (2) fits a nut (5) enclosed by Aramid fibres (6). The spoke with nut (5) is tensioned with set screw (7) in bottom of rim (4). The spoke is clamped against hub (3) by circular disc (9). Composite material may be carbon fibre or fibre glass. Spoke cross-section may be ribbon shaped, Aramid fibres may be embedded in resin, e.g. epoxy polyamide.
